WHAT: Curls, Kinks & Culture, (CKC) is a fun celebration of Natural Beauty, Natural Hair, and Art that is filled with fun experiences for people of all ages, races, backgrounds and more! There will be unique vendors with hair, skin & beauty care, fashion, live-art, jewelry, one-of-a-kind items and more. We have a main stage featuring all-day LIVE music entertainment from the hottest local underground artists. Hungry? Thirsty? No problem, our curated list of food and drink vendors are there to provide an array of flavorful delicacies, no matter what mood you're in.
Join us for Morning Yoga on the lawn before the event. Get your hair done at one of the hair stations or barber station. Bring your blanket, lounge chair, your family and enjoy the good vibes with us. We have so many more fun experiences ranging from interactive stage performances, live art performances, fun games and crafts for all and so much more. General Admission is Free for All but you must RSVP.
Presented by Taliah Waajid, a beauty industry maverick with a strong reputation for hosting great events. Taliah Waajid is also the presenter of the World Natural Hair, Healthy Lifestyle Event, held in Atlanta, GA every Spring. It brings over 30,000 attendees and is now in its 23rd year.
